Application Blacklisting

Application Blacklisting stops laptop users from running unauthorized programs.

Application Blacklisting allows administrators to block the execution of specified .exe files and other executables.

When employees install applications that compromise security or violate corporate policies, Fiberlink’s Application Blacklisting technology (also called Restricted Application Protection™, or RAP), prevents them from running.

Administrators can control unauthorized instant messaging programs, computer games, file sharing programs, and other dubious applications on hundreds or thousands of mobile laptops and remote computers.
