The Extend360 Management Center gives administrators a single tool to manage the deployment, configuration, monitoring and remediation of a wide range of endpoint security and connectivity services. |
The Extend360 Management Center is a hosted management platform that runs in Fiberlink’s operations center. It includes three primary components for managing security and connectivity policies, for managing user groups, and for viewing reports. By providing a unified management center for multiple security and connectivity applications, the Extend360 Management Center reduces administrative costs, provides more consistent security, and makes it easier to comply with regulatory requirements.

The Policy Management System is used to manage policy and configuration settings for security and connectivity services on laptops and remote PCs.
Policies can be set for different user groups, and even for specific individuals, based on job functions, requirements for sensitive data, location and other factors. Policies might define the security applications that need to be running on the remote system, settings and parameters for those applications, the connectivity options available to a user group, and the actions to take if a remote computer is not in compliance with policies.
The Policy Management System can also assign phone books, user credentials, VPN profiles, software application files, scripts and documentation to mobile devices.
The User Management System administers user groups and assigns policy profiles to them. User information can be maintained in a local database, or Fiberlink’s ExtendIdentity™ directory integration service can seamlessly import user information from Active Directory and other LDAP-compliant identity management systems.
The Extend360 Management Center Portal allows customers to manage
Fiberlink-provided services, control administrative activities, view operational and billing
information, and access a wide variety of security and connectivity reports, all over the web.
The portal utilizes an easy-to-use tab and tree navigation layout, contextual help, the
ability to bookmark favorite portal pages and other features that simplify administrative
tasks.
A graphical dashboard provides charts showing key metrics associated with security, connectivity and cost data collected by the Extend360 Agents on mobile and remote computers.
Management reports give Fiberlink customers visibility into the security and connectivity posture of the mobile laptops and remote PCs. The Extend360 Management Center Portal also gives administrators a single location to find reports generated by all of the endpoint security applications managed by Fiberlink.
The Extend360 Management Center 2.0 lets administrators manage their Fiberlink environment easily and effectively.
Role management features allow administrators to securely divide and delegate administrative tasks by defining access to portal applications, content and functionality by role. Pre-designed workflows simplify activities such as adding users and assigning policies to user groups. A searchable knowledge base provides easy access to product documentation and support information, and alert subscriptions keep administrators apprised of relevant Fiberlink maintenance and support issues.
