The world’s most advanced platform for deploying and managing mobile security and connectivity applications.
The Extend 360 Mobility Platform™ is a software platform that manages Fiberlink’s security and connectivity services on mobile laptops and remote PCs. It deploys, installs, monitors, updates and remediates security and connectivity software, enforces corporate security and connectivity policies, and makes it easier to demonstrate compliance with security regulations.
The Extend360 Mobility Platform consists of two software components: the Extend360 Agent™ and the Extend360 Management Center.
Persistent Policy Enforcement
The Extend360 Mobility Platform™ provides "Persistent Policy Enforcement" by continually scanning laptops and remote PCs to make sure that required software is installed and running, that threat signature and access point information is up-to-date, and that registry and other system settings are correct.
This "always on" policy enforcement operates from system start-up to shutdown, even when end-users aren’t connected to the Internet.
Centralized Policy and Software Management
A hosted central management and reporting system provides centralized control of security and connectivity policies and software. Security applications and services, configurations and policy settings are assigned to user groups. Required software and files are pushed out to laptops and remote PCs. Reports give administrators visibility into the security posture and connectivity usage of mobile laptops.
Network Access Control and Real-Time Remediation
The Extend360 Mobility Platform allows enterprises to implement Mobile NAC, Fiberlink’s Network Access Control solution for the mobile workforce. Mobile and remote and mobile systems that are not in compliance with security policies can be blocked from accessing the Internet and enterprise networks. Missing and out-of-date files and settings can be repaired in real time. These features ensure that enterprise networks are protected from non-compliant mobile devices, and that the information on the mobile computer is always protected.
Integration with Corporate Systems
The ExtendAccess™ service allows enterprises to integrate their own WiFi access points and
third-party hotspots and wireless networks into Fiberlink Connectivity Services so mobile employees
can use a single connectivity client to access customer-provided wireless networks and Fiberlink’s
global virtual network. The ExtendIdentity™ service lets enterprises simplify user administration
by managing all network access and security policies from the organization’s own LDAP-compliant
identity management system.
