Fiberlink’s PHS service in Japan combines wireless connectivity and Internet access into a single service with one fee and one access number throughout Japan. The service gives users the capability to connect with a 128kbps connection.

To simplify administration, Fiberlink’s Extend360 Management Platform™ automatically distributes updates to dial phone books and client software. 

And Fiberlink can manage much of the PHS infrastructure for customers, including provisioning PHS networking cards and managing Radius servers for authentication as a bundled service, or allows customers to bring their own cards for service on available points tf presence as an unbundled service.

Customers benefit from a cost-competitive solution with only one bill to pay. Fiberlink’s reports allow administrators to allocate usage costs by departments, and track costs down to the level of individual users.

To improve security without affecting remote workers, the Extend360 Agent automatically launches VPN clients, forwards employee authentication credentials, and takes other steps defined by the system administrator.
