WHAT: Vulnerabilities introduced by laptops and remote devices should be considered when companies plan for corporate data protection. Mobile devices are the cause of the most highly profiled data breaches, compromising critical data and affecting hundreds, if not thousands, of individuals' private information. Additionally, organizations must protect against increasingly sophisticated hackers, who often act as part of an organized cyber-gang of criminals bypassing anti-virus and firewall protection. Once inside, a hacker has full access to the corporate network, stealing confidential information and destroying important information assets. Strong network protection requires a myriad of security precautions against theft and hackers as well as continuous patching to stop thieves from finding vulnerabilities in existing security software.
Fiberlink’s Jon Friedman will participate in a SecureWorld Expo panel
