Fiberlink's Extend360 Mobility Platform Integrated with Vodafone's 3G and HSDPA Services to Offer Ubiquitous and Secure Connectivity for Mobile Workers

BLUE BELL, Pa. – November 20, 2006 – Fiberlink Communications Corporation, the trusted expert for simple and secure mobile working, today announced an exclusive partnership with Vodafone UK that will deliver a comprehensive secure mobile workforce offering for Vodafone UK corporate customers.  Mobile working allows employees to connect quickly, securely and easily to the applications and data they need when working away from the traditional office.

Vodafone UK will integrate Fiberlink’s Extend360 Mobility Platform to provide customers with software and services that enable mobile working across any access method, without compromising network or information security.  Fiberlink and Vodafone UK will offer a flexible mobile workforce service that will scale as more organisations mobilise their workers and will support a broad range of security and management features to meet the diverse business needs of customers.  Going forward, Fiberlink’s Extend360 Mobility Platform will enable Vodafone UK to add security point solutions, like encryption or identity management software, to meet future demand for secure mobility services. 

This new service will enable customers to take advantage of Fiberlink’s broad range of security software and managed services and will deliver access to the complete spectrum of connectivity options – 3G, HSDPA, Wi-Fi, dial and fixed-line broadband  -  through a single software client, powered by Fiberlink’s Extend360 Mobility Platform.  A major UK financial services organisation is already using the service, and Vodafone UK is starting to offer the service to corporate and public sector customers with a full market launch planned for the first half of 2007.
