Fiberlink Appoints New Chief Financial Officer

BLUE BELL, Pa., April 20, 2005 – Fiberlink Communications Corp., a leading innovator and trusted enterprise partner for secure mobile workforce solutions, today announced that Mark Partin has joined the company as chief financial officer.

Partin will oversee all of the financial aspects of Fiberlink's operations including accounting and compliance, planning and forecasting, reporting and analysis and will work closely with Fiberlink's executive team on investor relations and corporate development.

Prior to joining Fiberlink, Partin was the chief financial officer of Headhunter.NET, now Careerbuilder.com, where he successfully managed the company's initial public offering, completed several acquisitions, and negotiated multiple partnership agreements. Previously, Partin was the chief financial officer of Contour Medical Supply, Inc. which was sold to Sun Healthcare in 1999. He has also worked as director of M&A for American Health Imaging, Inc. and controller at the Williams Group International, Inc.

Partin holds a Bachelor of Arts degree in accounting, magna cum laude, from the University of Tennessee and a Masters Degree of Business Administration from the Harvard Business School.
