March 2, 2005

BLUE BELL, Pa., March 1, 2005 – Fiberlink announced today it has achieved the Managed Security Service Provider Advanced Technology Provider (ATP) status from Cisco Systems®. This ATP designation recognizes Fiberlink for its commitment to delivering managed security services based on Cisco technology and having invested in training to obtain expertise in selling, designing, installing, managing, and supporting a comprehensive Cisco network security solution.

“The Managed Security Service Provider ATP status indicates that Fiberlink has a commitment to investing in gaining the knowledge and expertise to successfully provide mobile security solutions based on leading Cisco security products," said Edison Peres, vice president, advanced and core technologies, Worldwide Channels at Cisco Systems. "These mobile security solutions are intended to provide higher availability and better protection of customer IT infrastructure.”

“We are pleased to be named an Advanced Technology Provider and greatly value our strong relationship with Cisco,” said William R. Wagner, chief marketing officer of Fiberlink. “We aim to provide our customers with the most comprehensive, secure mobile workforce solutions available today. To accomplish this goal, we invest in resources that allow us to plan, design and implement our services along with Cisco’s technology.”

Resource Requirements
The Managed Security Service Provider ATP status required Fiberlink to achieve a combination of Cisco Qualified Specialist as well as a variety of industry certifications including CISSP, SSCP, SCNA, SCNP and GIAC. In addition, Fiberlink was required to fulfill the following job roles with qualified individuals who have met specific testing requirements: an account manager or engagement manager, one project manager, one system engineer, four SOC analysts and four SOC engineers.

Customer Satisfaction Requirement
Beyond the personnel requirements, Fiberlink has agreed to meet the requirements regarding documenting customer satisfaction. In order to maintain its ATP status, Fiberlink must obtain a 4.0 average rating out of a possible 5.0 for every five surveys completed.

Lab Requirement
The Managed Security Service Provider ATP status also requires Fiberlink to have or have access to a Cisco certified lab that contains the designated Cisco security products. In addition, the lab must be suitable for the following purposes: Proof-of-concept demonstrations, internal training, and network emulation.
