Barry Porozni to Detail Technical Approaches for Enterprises Implementing Wi-Fi Protected Access and 802.1X

WHO: As Fiberlink's chief technology officer, Barry Porozni is responsible for architecting Fiberlink's innovative remote access solutions, including Fiberlink's intelligent access manager, Extend360™. Built on Fiberlink's next-generation remote access platform, Dynamic Network Architecture™ (DNA), Extend360™ delivers the industry's most complete remote access and configuration management solution for mobile and remote workers by integrating unrivaled security and management features with ubiquitous global access. Barry's role as CTO is to identify and architect new technologies that enhance Fiberlink's solution suite. Barry also oversees customer service, infrastructure and systems delivery technologies. Before joining Fiberlink in 1994, Porozni was the information technology architect at Enbridge, responsible for defining the systems architecture that connected 1,100 employees throughout 25 North American offices to centralized computer systems and data.

WHAT: Porozni will join other vendors such as Boingo Wireless in a panel discussion titled "Wi-Fi Protected Access and 802.1X" at Global Mobile Enterprise 2004. Poronzi and panelists will discuss the WPA2 standard, key applications for WPA and WPA2, and the timeline for WPA2 delivery and adoption among other topics.
